Home-Made Dog Biscuits
43These whole wheat dog biscuits are so good!! I love this recipe. Just try it - I am positive you will love them (and your dogs will too)!
Prep Time: 10 Minutes Cook Time: 25 Minutes Ready In: 35 Minutes Yields: 42 servings INGREDIENTS: 2 cups whole wheat flour 1 cup cornmeal 1 tablespoon salt 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 egg 1 cup water DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet. 2. In a large bowl, stir together the whole wheat flour, cornmeal and salt. Mix in the oil, egg and water to make a soft dough that is not too sticky. You may add more flour if needed. Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place on the prepared cookie sheet. Flatten slightly. 3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until nicely browned and firm. Cool completely, then store in an airtight container.- Cooking Articles and Information

Another good treat for my dog. You can't really know what they are putting in manufactured food for them. Cody is a good looking dog.

Cody looks like he is waiting for a home made dog biscuit. Is he a border collie? My sister has an Australian collie, I think that's what they call the bread anyway. It looks the same as your dog but it's brown and tan. Nice dog. I call it a dingo. :-)
